PREPARE FOR THIS JOURNEY

A journey of mind & heart

The visit to the Legacy Museum and Memorial is a walk-through history and a learning experience. But it can also be a very emotional experience. The Selma experience, likewise, is both an historical and moving experience.

We want the visitors in our group to be prepared and supported throughout their experience. To that end, we will have two (2) virtual pre-meetings in February and March, and two (2) post virtual meetings in May.

You could go on this trip alone, why go on this trip with us?

As a Center for Spiritual Living affiliated organization, we are in complete agreement with the CSL  - Global Heart Vision of  A World That Works for Everyone; Therefore, we too  “envision a world in which we live and grow as One Global Family that respects and honors the interconnectedness of all life; a world where this kinship with all life prospers and connects through the guidance of spiritual wisdom and experience.”

Our organization’s (CSL) diversity work has been admirable, much dialogue has taken place, however, walking where history occurred is a moving an unforgettable experience. It is also one that opens the heart and stimulates the mind, allowing for greater understanding and compassion.

Golden Heart Spiritual Communities is committed to being an organization of healing the consciousness of social injustice wherever it manifests. Therefore, our activities, services, spiritual travel will always support the inclusivity of all people everywhere.

Please join us on this, for CSL, historical event as we walk through history, regardless of your religious or spiritual affiliation.

Also, we recommend that young people 12 and older, if brought on the trip be introduced to the curriculum suggested below prior to the trip. Also, we would like to know of their attendance prior to the trip.
